About the Role
84 Lumber is hiring immediately for a Yard Person. This role involves building loads for deliveries, maintaining a safe and organized lumber yard, loading and unloading materials, and operating a forklift. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking for a career with a growing, family-owned company.
Responsibilities
- Build loads for deliveries.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
- Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
- Operate a forklift.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information to others one-on-one.
- Periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
