Alliance Precision Plastics, a custom injection molder, seeks an off-shift Production Department Supervisor and also Assistant Supervisor role.

Assure that customer demands are met through quality and delivery.
Maintain necessary paperwork and reporting requirements, including but not limited to; production reports, employee timesheets and attendance records, documentation and corrective actions.
Consults and coordinates with management in matters involving production needs and demands.
Evaluate staffing needs and manage accordingly.
Ensure operators perform jobs correctly and effectively on a daily basis.
Participate in the development of work instructions/cycle times for assembly jobs.
Perform duties regularly in production areas of the plant(s) in a "hands-on" capacity.
Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within product specification parameters.
Address personnel issues and costs to the company by reducing turnover, improving efficiencies, encouraging training and employee development within the shift operation.
Responsible for maintaining a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards.
Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Support and participate in new projects.
Support other departments, Shipping, Molding, Quality, and Engineering. Interacts with other departments.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Must be able to the work the hours as necessary to meet position requirements.
Lead by example.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with employees in order to assure understanding and accurate transfer of information.
Requires HS Diploma or GED - prefer some post HS education or training.
Knowledge and experience in Manufacturing or Assembly.
Plastic injection molding knowledge is helpful but not required.
Ability to deal effectively with a diverse workgroup.
Must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Must be able to work outside normal working hours, when required to accommodate departmental needs.
Attendance is critical as is being on time.
