About the Role
As our Growth Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for the infrastructure behind every cross-sell channel — in-product ads, email, and in-product landing pages. You’ll identify whitespace in how we cross-sell, find new ad types and ad surfaces we haven’t tapped yet, and improve the infrastructure our growth managers need to exceed their goals. You’ll partner with marketing, ads engineering, growth engineering, and MOps to turn what you find into a prioritized roadmap and drive it to shipped.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategy and roadmap for in-product advertising & product-led growth.
- Run weekly sprints with ads engineering and MOps on bugs and improvements.
- Project manage immediate fixes for campaign breaks in email or IPAs and lay the groundwork to fix underlying infrastructure.
- Own how suppression, ranking, and allocation work across emails and IPAs, keeping rules clear and documented.
- Run the intake and triage process for new trigger signals, partnering with data and engineering to implement them.
- Expand placements for new products, new ad formats, and new entry points.
- Ensure all engagement within Rippling is MQL'd and that opportunities created are accurate and properly attributed.
- Build and maintain reporting on campaign performance and analyze new experiments against KPIs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product, marketing, growth, business operations, or consulting.
- Experience at a fast-paced startup is a plus.
- Ability to quickly use data, qualitative insights, and product understanding to develop and prioritize a roadmap.
- Insatiable curiosity about how systems work.
- Growth hacker instinct: ability to poke at things, find shortcuts, and not be satisfied with standard explanations.
- Proven ability to run cross-functional technical programs, including writing PRDs, managing sprints, writing tickets, and making trade-offs.
- Strong project management abilities, balancing multiple initiatives and collaborating across teams.
- Ability to build relationships and earn trust across functions.
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Github, Cursor, and Snowflake.
- Comfort with AI tools and vibe coding, including prototyping fixes or scripts.
- Familiarity with how marketing teams function, including MQL definitions, routing, and opportunity attribution.
- Experience with email and sequencing platforms (Iterable, Outreach, or similar).
- Experience with in-product or platform advertising.
- Comfort with Jira and Confluence, and a habit of documenting systems for self-service.
- Sharp communication skills, including synthesizing complex issues and clearly stating scope needs.
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment with energy for experimentation and rapid iteration.
