About the Role
As a Concierge at The Lodge, you'll be the friendly face that helps make our guests' stay unforgettable. You'll assist with everything from restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements to recommending local attractions and activities. Your personal touch and dedication to exceptional service will play a key role in creating a delightful and memorable experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently coordinates various services for Lodge guests, including arranging reservations, transportation & travel, making leisure & entertainment recommendations, and answering guest questions.
- Maintains a visible presence in the Front Desk area to greet guests warmly and offer assistance proactively.
- Consistently goes above and beyond required duties to ensure superior and personalized guest service.
- Provides support for the Reception Desk by assisting the Front Desk Supervisor and Receptionists.
- Ensures package components and other special guest requests are fulfilled.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the LMS system and stays updated on system upgrades.
- Maintains professional relationships with outside vendors and internal departments to ensure proper communication regarding guest needs.
- Provides warm, friendly, and professional service to VIP guests, including personalized itineraries and escorting guests.
- Is well informed of all area events, entertainment, and popular local destinations, making recommendations easily and effectively.
- Utilizes sound judgment when issuing complimentary goods and services.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all Resort restaurants, spa services, golf courses, gaming departments, retail shops, and other amenities, suggesting arrangements for internal dining, entertainment, and services.
Requirements
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Four to five years of experience working in a guest service environment.
- Two years of experience in a hotel or resort setting.
- Knowledge of the local area, attractions, and restaurants is a must.
- Must be proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, & online navigation.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 lbs.
