About the Role
We're hiring a Product Manager to own impactful parts of the Fable product from problem to shipped outcome. You'll set the direction, own the roadmap, and be accountable for results, turning customer insights and company goals into clear product strategy, making prioritization calls, and leading execution alongside engineering. As one of the first PMs, you'll have significant autonomy, direct influence on company direction, and the opportunity to shape product development.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for your area, tying it directly to company goals and customer needs.
- Make tradeoffs explicit and explain the 'why' behind every priority.
- Partner with engineers as co-creators from discovery through delivery, scoping problems and making build-vs-defer calls.
- Shape features where AI models are the core mechanic, considering evals, quality, and new model possibilities.
- Frame loosely defined problems, write crisp specs, and provide engineers with context for decision-making.
- Drive execution through planning, prioritization, unblocking the team, and tracking progress.
- Maintain a high bar for what ships and when.
- Stay close to customers by talking to CISOs and security practitioners regularly, joining calls, and analyzing usage data.
- Align stakeholders including sales, customer success, marketing, design, and leadership.
- Define success metrics before building, measure them post-shipment, and adjust course based on data.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, ideally building B2B SaaS products.
- A track record of owning a roadmap and shipping products that moved real business metrics.
- Experience leading engineering teams effectively.
- Shipped at least one AI-powered feature where the model is the core mechanic, with opinions on evals, quality, and model tradeoffs.
- Strong written communication skills for specs, strategy docs, and updates.
- Comfort working in an early-stage or fast-moving environment with limited process.
- Solid product judgment backed by qualitative customer insight and quantitative data.
- Experience in cybersecurity, security awareness, or other enterprise security products (nice-to-have).
- Experience selling to or building for CISOs and security teams (nice-to-have).
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup (nice-to-have).
