About the Role
As a Junior Accountant at Autohaus Royal, you will support the finance team in daily operations and take ownership of your own areas of responsibility after onboarding. You will contribute to reliable financial data and the advancement of digital accounting processes, growing with a developing company.
Responsibilities
- Review, account for, and book current business transactions
- Participate in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Book bank transactions and prepare payment runs
- Reconcile accounts and clarify open items
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Maintain master data and digital document filing
- Coordinate with internal departments on accounting inquiries
- Participate in the digitalization and optimization of accounting processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or business studies degree, ideally with a focus on accounting
- Initial practical accounting experience through apprenticeship, employment, or relevant working student activities
- Basic knowledge of financial accounting and understanding of booking entries and account relationships
- Good Excel skills and ideally initial experience with DATEV or comparable accounting software
- Meticulous, structured, and reliable work approach
- Willingness to learn and interest in taking on own areas of responsibility
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
