About the Role

Lead and execute the end-to-end onboarding of HR vendors for Project Armstrong (India expansion), ensuring operational readiness by April 1, 2027. This role also involves refining third-party processes for HR engagements across EMEA and APAC.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the integrated HR vendor onboarding plan for Project Armstrong, prioritizing engagements for operational readiness by April 1, 2027.
  • Manage each vendor from intake through onboarding completion, coordinating with stakeholders including sourcing, due diligence, risk and controls, privacy, technology, contracting, legal, and HR Leads.
  • Establish and manage the critical path for each vendor, including owners, deliverables, decision dates, dependencies, and completion criteria.
  • Identify delivery risks early and maintain contingency, remediation, and escalation plans for engagements at risk of missing Project Armstrong milestones.
  • Establish and maintain the inventory of HR vendors and engagements identified through Phase 2, confirming scope, priority, ownership, and required onboarding route.
  • Complete early intake and dependency assessment for timely vendor selection and onboarding.
  • Sequence Phase 2 onboarding activity against delivery milestones, process capacity, technology dependencies, and other Project Armstrong commitments.
  • Translate requirements into workplans and submission packs for HR workstream owners and vendors.
  • Provide transparent reporting on Phase 2 pipeline status, upcoming decisions, constraints, risks, and required interventions.
  • Act as the HR lead and central point of coordination for Project Armstrong vendor onboarding, bringing together all relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent CoEs with stakeholders, explaining requirements and coordinating resolution of due diligence, commercial, contractual, and implementation issues.
  • Facilitate working sessions to resolve unclear requirements, ownership gaps, and competing interpretations, documenting decisions and actions.
  • Escalate blockers, overdue decisions, and material risks promptly with clear impacts, options, and recommended actions.
  • Maintain momentum across multiple concurrent engagements while ensuring Project Armstrong delivery decisions are governed and evidenced.
  • Identify where enterprise third-party processes create ambiguity, duplication, or delay for HR engagements in EMEA and APAC.
  • Work with process owners to clarify requirements and shape proportionate routes reflecting service, data, risk, delivery model, and geography.
  • Bring an informed HR perspective to process discussions, including nuances of benefits, insurance, payroll, recruitment, learning, employee relations, wellbeing, HR technology, and professional advisory services.
  • Develop practical playbooks, checklists, templates, and minimum evidence standards to improve consistency and execution while preserving controls and approvals.
  • Capture lessons learned from Project Armstrong and Phase 2 and convert them into improvements for future regional HR vendor engagements.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading complex vendor onboarding, third-party engagement, or procurement delivery in a regulated, matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple vendor engagements against a fixed operational readiness date, including critical-path planning, dependency management, and senior-level escalation.
  • Strong working knowledge of the vendor lifecycle, including intake, sourcing, due diligence, risk assessment, privacy, information security, technology, contracting, approvals, and implementation readiness.
  • Ability to understand the practical nuances of HR engagements and translate enterprise requirements into clear actions for workstream owners and vendors.
  • Proven ability to challenge and improve processes constructively, applying a pragmatic and proportionate approach without compromising control expectations.
  • Experience working across EMEA and/or APAC, with an appreciation of regional and country-specific legal, regulatory, data, and operating-model considerations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear submissions, decision papers, status reporting, and executive updates.
  • Execution-focused and accountable, with the determination to move complex engagements from ambiguity to completion.
  • Pragmatic and risk-aware, able to distinguish essential controls from avoidable process friction and propose proportionate solutions.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple vendors, workstreams, deadlines, and dependencies concurrently.
  • Confident and credible with senior stakeholders, process owners, and external vendors, including when challenging delays or escalating risk.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, while maintaining clear ownership, pace, and delivery discipline.
  • Comfortable operating across cultures, time zones, and functions in a fast-moving EMEA and APAC environment.
  • Curious and improvement-minded, with enthusiasm for data, technology, automation, and clear process design.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, able to maintain momentum when requirements evolve or ownership is unclear.
