About the Role
Profound is seeking a Field Marketer to own the company's field marketing initiatives, including tradeshows, executive dinners, roundtables, regional events, ABM, and partner activations. This role involves approximately 60% events and 40% campaign strategy, directly tied to pipeline generation and collaboration with the Sales team. The position offers significant ownership, budget, and direct interaction with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and run multi-touch campaigns around every tradeshow, dinner and regional event, before, during and after the moment.
- Own the US tradeshow and events strategy end to end: show selection, target accounts, messaging, pre-event outreach, booth and on-site experience, and post-event conversion.
- Design and run field ABM for must-win accounts, tiered across one-to-one, one-to-few and one-to-many, mixing events, direct mail, social, email and outbound.
- Run curated executive dinners and roundtables, qualifying attendees and ensuring pipeline generation.
- Adapt global campaigns, including Zero Click, research and product launches, for regional execution.
- Collaborate weekly with Sales leadership, AEs and GTMAs on ICPs, account lists, outreach sequences, meeting goals and follow-up.
- Support pipeline directly by booking meetings, pitching on the floor, and engaging in conversations.
- Partner with the partner marketing team to leverage agency, cloud, and technology partnerships in the field.
- Work with comms, content, social and digital teams to extend field event impact through digital channels.
- Manage vendors, sponsorships, logistics, timelines, and budgets, ensuring clear ROI.
- Report on key metrics including meetings held, pipeline influenced, conversion, and feedback from Sales.
- Continuously test, iterate, and optimize strategies based on performance and feedback.
- Contribute to the scaling of the field marketing team, with potential to lead a regional team.
Requirements
- Natural host who thrives in social settings and takes initiative.
- Doer who excels in fast-moving environments and enjoys being actively involved.
- Experienced in owning B2B SaaS or technology field marketing programs end-to-end.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with Account Executives, GTMAs, and sales leadership.
- Egoless and direct communicator, comfortable interacting with senior leaders.
- Strong instincts for messaging, audience targeting, and on-the-ground execution.
- Organized, scrappy, and resourceful with problem-solving abilities.
- Data-minded with a focus on pipeline, influence, and measurable results.
- Comfortable in an early-stage environment, with enterprise experience paired with startup experience being a plus.
- Track record of longevity, growth, and delivery in previous roles.
