About the Role
Join Manulife’s Global Hedging – Variable and Indexed-Linked Products team as an Intern. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on exposure to managing financial risks, and contribute to innovative solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore hedging strategies, risk analysis, and financial derivatives in a global investment environment.
Responsibilities
- Produce aggregate exposure reports used to support internal hedging programs.
- Leverage Bloomberg and Reuters market data applications to ensure individual securities are correctly classified in the internal fund mapping application.
- Ensure security classification data remains up-to-date and reflective of most recent corporate actions and other market related impacts.
- Produce ad-hoc risk exposure reports for exchange traded funds and mutual funds hedged as part of the program.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics (preferably financial modelling) or actuarial science.
- Detail-oriented and organized individual.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
