About the Role
Rondout Savings Bank is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support brand initiatives, events, and community outreach. This role provides administrative and creative support for social media, marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and bank events.
Responsibilities
- Support the Dividends to the Community program, including creating sponsorship advertisements.
- Assist with planning and coordinating bank events and sponsored activities.
- Create, schedule, and update content for social media pages, website, and digital channels.
- Prepare and proofread advertisements, flyers, signage, and communications.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments on campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support, maintain records, and assist with marketing reports.
- Represent the Bank’s Core Values and participate in community activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- One to three years of office or administrative experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in content creation and digital marketing.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Must be willing to attend events outside of the office.
