About the Role
You will plan and execute events and trade fair appearances for IONOS and its brands, from initial concept to post-event follow-up. This role involves operational planning, on-site management, and leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and independently deliver events and trade fair appearances for our brands, including briefing, stand concept, and follow-up.
- Handle operational planning, including venue selection, timeline creation, run-of-show plans, and coordination of all involved trades while managing costs.
- Lead events on-site, overseeing build-up, live operation, and dismantling, serving as the primary point of contact for the team, service providers, and guests.
- Manage service providers by obtaining quotes and negotiating terms with venues and trade fair organizers.
- Develop target group and lead strategies in collaboration with Sales, ensuring effective lead capture and reporting on event results.
- Utilize AI tools and automations for tasks such as briefings, run-of-show plans, and reporting to improve process efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B event & trade fair experience, including on-site management (in-house or agency).
- Strong project management skills with experience in budget, time, and resource planning across multiple parallel projects.
- Confident supplier management, including negotiation with agencies, venues, and trade fair organizers.
- Results-oriented with a focus on target groups, leads, and pipeline, in addition to smooth operations.
- Daily use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) with a practical example/AI workflow included with the CV.
- Business-fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel.
