About the Role

As an Event Manager at IONOS, you will be responsible for planning and leading events and trade fair appearances for IONOS and its brands, from initial concept to post-event follow-up. You will utilize AI as a standard tool to optimize processes and focus on details.

Responsibilities

Conceive and independently implement events and trade fair appearances for our brands, from briefing to stand concept and follow-up.
Operatively plan events, including finding suitable locations, creating timelines and schedules, and coordinating all involved trades while managing costs.
Lead events on-site, from setup through execution to dismantling, serving as the primary point of contact for the team, service providers, and guests.
Manage service providers by obtaining quotes and negotiating terms with locations and trade fair companies.
Develop target group and lead strategies with Sales for each event, ensure clean on-site lead capture, and report on results.
Utilize AI tools and automations for briefings, schedules, and reporting to enhance process efficiency.

Requirements

3+ years of B2B event and trade fair experience, including on-site leadership (company or agency).
Strong project management skills with experience in budget, time, and resource planning for multiple parallel projects.
Proficiency in managing service providers, including negotiation with agencies, locations, and trade fair companies.
Results-oriented with a focus on target groups, leads, and pipeline, alongside smooth operations.
Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.). CV including a practical example/AI workflow must be submitted.
Fluent German and English.
Willingness to travel.
