About the Role
Join Capgemini's SAP Data & Analytics practice, collaborating with experienced professionals on large-scale SAP transformation programs. You will help clients modernize their data, reporting, and analytics capabilities across SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and the broader SAP data ecosystem. This role involves designing and delivering enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions, with exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP BW/4HANA data models, data flows, and reporting solutions.
- Develop ABAP solutions within a BW environment, including transformations, routines, exits, enhancements, and BAdIs.
- Build and enhance data extraction and integration solutions from SAP S/4HANA and other source systems.
- Translate business and reporting requirements into maintainable technical designs and scalable architectures.
- Support SAP BW and BW/4HANA migration, conversion, and modernization programs.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data loads, transformations, process chains, and reporting performance.
- Contribute to solution design, estimation, testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior consultants and promote SAP engineering best practices.
- Build knowledge and practical experience across SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Embedded Analytics technologies.
Requirements
- Strong experience with SAP BW, BW on HANA, and/or BW/4HANA.
- Proven ABAP development experience within an SAP BW environment.
- Strong knowledge of BW modeling and data integration, including InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Transformations and routines, DTPs, and Open ODS Views.
- Experience with SAP data extraction frameworks and SAP source-system integration.
- Experience supporting enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to translate business and reporting requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, requiring continuous residence in the UK for the last 5 years and meeting other criteria.
- May be asked about citizenship for security reasons, as some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals.
- Must pass pre-employment checks including identity, nationality, employment history, and criminal record check.
