About the Role
Working as part of a single-person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles, collecting and emptying bins from trade waste customers. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently outdoors and contributing to the local environment and communities.
Responsibilities
- Drive various modes of LGV vehicles
- Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Report vehicle defects
Requirements
- Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
- Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
