About the Role
Lead the 24x7 shift team, coordinate live operations, oversee incident response, and ensure adherence to approved procedures to maintain safe and stable campus operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the shift team and allocate duties to maintain operational coverage.
- Manage shift handover, logs, alarms, and outstanding issues.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and physical verification of critical systems.
- Coordinate permits, MOPs, risk assessments, and contractors for safe live work.
- Lead alarm response, incident coordination, troubleshooting, and recovery.
- Maintain clear incident chronology, event records, and follow-up actions.
- Enforce safety, security, access control, and procedural compliance.
- Coach shift technicians, support drills, and escalate operational risks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience leading shifts in data centres or other 24x7 critical facilities.
- Experience with critical-system monitoring, contractor coordination, incidents, and live operational work in a high-availability environment.
- Strong knowledge of alarm response, incident escalation, troubleshooting, and emergency response processes.
- Working understanding of MOP, SOP, EOP, permit-to-work, risk assessment, CMMS, BMS, and shift records.
- Clear decision-making, handover, coaching, and stakeholder communication capability.
- Japanese communication capability and working English preferred.
