About the Role
This department supports the development and operation of the Rakuten Mobile shop network, encompassing store expansion strategy, property development, construction, investment decisions, device strategy, and call center operations. We are broadly recruiting professionals to take on responsibilities in these key areas.
Responsibilities
- Select properties based on store expansion strategies, negotiate with property owners and developers, and secure favorable lease terms.
- Manage contract execution and renewals, and drive the standardization of the entire store opening process.
- Integrate and analyze trade area data, competitor information, and existing store performance to develop store expansion strategies.
- Drive the development of dashboards and reporting for senior management.
- Oversee design and construction management for new store openings and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Develop procurement plans for equipment and fixtures and promote the standardization of repair processes.
- Manage repair requests from stores nationwide, coordinate arrangements with partner contractors, and monitor work progress.
- Maintain and improve store environments by incorporating feedback from frontline teams.
- Prepare proposal documents for new store development projects and facilitate stakeholder alignment and approval.
- Monitor budgets and optimize costs, leading efforts to standardize store development processes and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Plan sales initiatives for mobile devices and accessories based on market trends and customer needs.
- Develop inventory allocation strategies for stores nationwide and promote operational efficiency through data analysis.
- Improve call center operational quality through KPI design and monitoring.
- Standardize processes in collaboration with outsourced service providers.
- Handle escalations and incident management.
- Focus on workforce management (WFM), call volume forecasting, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- Corporate sales experience in the real estate industry.
- Experience managing construction schedules and coordinating with contractors.
- Practical experience in store development or multi-store expansion.
- Experience negotiating property terms and coordinating contracts.
- Experience using SQL or BI tools to analyze data and develop strategies or improvement initiatives.
