About the Role
Join BAE Systems to design and develop automated test software solutions for Next Generation Electronic Warfare Systems Products and Solutions. You will impact all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle, collaborating with Systems, Hardware, Software, and Test Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test solutions.
- Write test software that is mission critical.
- Develop automated test software solutions.
- Complete assignments with little oversight.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and technical lead.
- Assume a full or partial lead role as circumstances dictate.
- Quickly and dynamically switch focus to accommodate daily activities of an engineering team supporting a production environment.
- Provide accurate technical status to program management.
- Provide direction to individual contributors.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines as necessary.
- Review requirements.
- Create test plans.
- Code test software.
- Integrate test SW with test stands.
- Perform sell-off to customers.
- Develop RF test for production.
- Employ RF Test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, PNA-X etc.).
- Diagnose and resolve RF measurement anomalies to root cause.
- Support factory production test stands, debug, problem isolation, and resolution.
- Develop JTAG/Boundary scan in an ATE solution.
- Debug and troubleshoot HW.
Requirements
- BS degree in a STEM field.
- 2+ years of professional test development and integration experience.
- Hardware and Software Integration experience.
- Good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication.
