About the Role
Join our Resource Allocation Pool Plus team to ensure the continuity of healthcare services in critical areas. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational continuity by covering critical openings in specialized areas, maintaining robust staffing profiles, and offering flexible working options for allied health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions; initiate and adjust care plans as needed.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with policy.
- Provide hygiene and comfort measures to support patient well-being.
- Educate patients and families; identify and address emotional and psychosocial needs.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Identify and manage patient risks, including falls and skin breakdown.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper body mechanics.
- Complete documentation, shift reports, and assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and use time efficiently to deliver patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana.
