About the Role
Scientific Group is seeking a Senior Medical Writer 1 to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow within a company that values scientific excellence, offers a comprehensive benefits package, and provides a variety of therapy areas and project types.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, concise, and insightful material across a wide range of project types, adapting writing style for different audiences and formats.
- Research, interpret, and integrate scientific data from multiple sources, and fact-check to ensure delivery to the highest scientific standards.
- Effectively interact with clients, thought leaders, and external teams, and provide on-site or virtual medical writing support for meetings.
- Proficiently use PowerPoint to create and edit slides with varying complexity, creativity, and visual impact.
- Take responsibility for defined aspects of team projects, and collaborate to meet agreed timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Provide input to business development activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical affairs with a medical communications agency.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for communicating science to the ultimate benefit of patients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Applicants must be based in the UK and have full rights to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis.
