About the Role
Iconic 598-room Hilton Sydney is located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, steps from Town Hall station and the QVB Light Rail stop. We are home to signature restaurant Glass Brasserie, heritage listed Marble Bar, and are a leading destination for Conferences & Events with one of the largest conferencing spaces in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and personalised dining experience.
- Lead your section with confidence, providing expert menu, beverage, and wine recommendations while anticipating guest needs.
- Build genuine relationships with guests, creating memorable moments that encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
- Support the smooth operation of service by coordinating closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Maintain the highest standards of restaurant presentation, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
- Assist with training and mentoring team members, sharing knowledge and promoting service excellence.
- Contribute to achieving restaurant goals through outstanding service, attention to detail, and a commitment to the Glass Brasserie brand.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a premium restaurant, fine dining venue, luxury hotel, or high-end hospitality environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of guests.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine service, or a genuine desire to further develop your expertise.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
