About the Role
We are looking for Casual Track Construction Crew Members to join our Sydney team. You will be involved in a variety of track construction and landscaping projects, including the construction of sandstone steps and tracks, timber structures and general landscape construction works. Projects will be based across the Sydney region, with travel to different work locations required. Some projects may also involve working in regional areas. This is a hands-on, physically active role suited to people who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality workmanship and want to contribute to maintaining and improving natural areas.
Responsibilities
- Involved in a variety of track construction and landscaping projects.
- Construction of sandstone steps and tracks.
- Construction of timber structures.
- General landscape construction works.
Requirements
- Experience in landscape, bushland or walking track construction is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using power tools, petrol-powered machinery and construction equipment.
- An interest in sandstone construction, timber structures and landscaping.
- A willingness to work outdoors and travel to different project locations.
- A passion for the Australian bush and natural environment.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work.
- A current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Own reliable transport.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to work 4-5 days during the week.
