About the Role
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on the implications of stamp duty and other State taxes on a range of commercial transactions across Australia.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on the implications of stamp duty and other State taxes.
- Work closely with other legal, tax, accounting and valuation experts as well as revenue authorities.
- Help clients manage risks.
- Engage with revenue authorities on behalf of clients.
Requirements
- Admission to practice as Lawyer in Australia.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a leading private practice or professional services firm, focusing on stamp duty and State taxes.
- Excellent academic results.
- A passion for continuous learning.
