About the Role

Join the FormPhil team at LEAP/CORTO, a global market leader in LegalTech, and be at the forefront of AI adoption within the Legal industry. Full training and ongoing support are provided for this flexible, hybrid Sydney-based role.

Responsibilities

Format and embed legal forms across all areas of law into the platform.
Work closely with subject matter experts to understand form purpose, required information, and usage.
Configure forms using the platform’s existing capabilities.
Validate the configuration results and identify areas for code changes or new product capabilities.
Understand forms and their requirements, including structure, rules, dependencies, and exceptions.
Set up form structure, fields, data mappings, validation, and conditional behavior.
Identify requirements the platform cannot yet support and explain the user need, current limitation, and expected behavior.
Validate the complete form experience, ensuring it behaves as intended.
Update configurations as source forms, portal requirements, or workflows change.
Investigate reported issues, distinguish configuration problems from software defects, and resolve or escalate them.
Document configuration patterns, decisions, test scenarios, and known limitations.
Identify repeated manual work and suggest improvements to tooling, templates, and processes.

Requirements

At least two years’ experience working on legal matters, in any area of law.
Familiarity with legal forms, government portals, or other rules-heavy professional systems.
Experience with Word document automation software.
Confidence using AI tools as part of your day-to-day work.
A methodical approach to problem-solving and an eye for detail.
Ability to think out of the box and try different, novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.
Strong attention to detail, noticing differences in wording, rules, dependencies, and outcomes.
Affinity towards continuous learning and driven by curiosity.
