About the Role
This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations and delivering outstanding patient care within a busy Radiology & Nuclear Medicine department. You will work across a varied caseload of inpatient and outpatient services, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This is an opportunity to develop your expertise within a large, highly skilled imaging team at NSW's largest private hospital.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations.
- Deliver outstanding patient care.
- Work across a varied caseload of inpatient and outpatient services.
- Utilize imaging expertise to perform examinations safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with Radiologists, referrers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive imaging service.
- Participate in a rotating roster and on-call requirements.
- Gain exposure to a broad range of clinical presentations.
- Continue to develop technical expertise.
Requirements
- Demonstrated CT experience.
- Experience working in a hospital or acute healthcare environment.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A Degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
- Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence (or eligibility).
- Ability to participate in a rotating roster and on-call service.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments.
