About the Role

Pet Paradise is seeking a Front Desk Associate for their Dripping Springs resort to be the welcoming face for pet parents and their pets, ensuring a positive first interaction and seamless experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure a positive first interaction by welcoming pet parents and their pets.
Organize and process check-ins and check-outs.
Walk pets for drop-off and pick-up and coordinate suite placement.
Answer incoming phone calls, listen to and respond to voicemails, and respond to emails in a timely, problem-solving manner.
Complete cashier and point of sale operations.
Communicate and follow through with pet parent and resort leadership requests.
Maintain cleanliness of the entranceway, lobby, and restrooms.
Maintain, clean, and support the cat room.
Act as a liaison to the veterinary service team regarding appointment status and arrivals.
Take off and put on harnesses at check-in and check-out.
Set up suites for each pet.
Familiarize with different types of harnesses.

Requirements

One to two years in a customer service role (Customer Service, Call Center, Receptionist).
Detailed, but can work with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service.
Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
Enjoys problem-solving to provide a premier experience.
Requires considerable physical labor, including pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods.
Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes.
Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Flexibility to meet resort schedule needs including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
