About the Role
Nirvana is building the infrastructure layer for healthcare eligibility verification and revenue cycle automation, backed by Inspired Capital, Eniac Ventures, and Northzone. This Senior PM role reports to the CTPO and will own product for Nirvana's core API, focusing on real-time eligibility, patient cost-share, and payer policy data, as well as agentic automation systems. The ideal candidate is AI-native and excited to define the future of automated eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Own product for Nirvana’s core API, including API design, reliability, data quality, and developer experience.
- Own the agentic automation roadmap for phone agents, portal agents, and integrations for end-to-end eligibility verification.
- Define product strategy for determining patient cost-share obligations, prior authorization requirements, and payer-specific policy rules at scale.
- Collaborate with ML and engineering on model instrumentation, evaluation criteria, and surfacing model/agent outputs.
- Define success criteria for agents, including evaluations, failure modes, human-in-the-loop thresholds, and the path to full automation.
- Conduct discovery and prioritization by working with CS, sales, and customers to identify and address manual effort.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with at least one promotion.
- Daily use of LLMs and AI tools for prototyping, writing specs, data analysis, and building internal tools.
- Hands-on experience shipping products built on LLMs or AI agents, with understanding of prompting, evals, tool use, latency, cost tradeoffs, and production failures.
- Genuine data fluency, including writing SQL, working with model outputs, shaping instrumentation, and making data-grounded product decisions.
- Experience owning an API or platform product, understanding developer consumption, versioning, reliability, and data contracts.
- Experience shipping workflow automation or complex system orchestration.
- Comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize ambiguous signals into clear product direction.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment and make progress without perfect information or a full team.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another API-driven, regulated industry is a plus.
- RCM or eligibility domain knowledge is a meaningful differentiator.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
