About the Role

As a Senior Go-to-Market Manager for Microsoft Edge, you'll play a critical role in accelerating adoption, engagement, and retention for one of Microsoft's most strategic consumer products. You'll combine creative vision, customer obsession, and analytical rigor to turn product innovation into meaningful consumer behavior change, helping Edge earn a bigger role in people's digital lives. You'll partner across Product, Creative, Media, Growth, and Business Planning teams to identify growth opportunities, shape compelling consumer narratives, and develop and lead integrated go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. This role sits within Microsoft's Consumer Windows, Devices, and Services organization, one of the company's largest multi-billion-dollar businesses. Browser share is a critical driver of Microsoft's consumer ecosystem strategy. People spend more time browsing the Web on PCs than any other activity in desktop computing. If you're excited about helping shape the future of browsing while competing on one of the most dynamic battlegrounds in technology, we'd love to talk to you.

Responsibilities

  • Architect go-to-market strategies for major product launches, feature releases, seasonal moments, and growth initiatives.
  • Design the consumer journey from acquisition through activation, repeat usage, retention, and advocacy.
  • Translate product priorities, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and business goals into clear strategic plans that drive measurable growth.
  • Develop a scalable storytelling framework, messaging architecture, and creative vision that can be activated consistently across channels and partner teams.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate Edge into broader Microsoft consumer moments, including Windows experiences, seasonal campaigns, ecosystem launches, and owned channels.
  • Serve as a category expert, continuously monitoring consumer trends, competitive activity, cultural shifts, and emerging opportunities that influence Edge's growth strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end planning of consumer launches, and go to market programs coordinating across Product, Creative, Growth, Media, PR, Windows, Bing, and partner organizations.
  • Bring product stories to life through integrated owned, earned, and paid media strategies designed to move consumers from awareness to adoption.
  • Define channel strategies and investment priorities, ensuring each touchpoint contributes to a cohesive growth system.
  • Partner with Creative teams to develop breakthrough concepts, launch narratives, campaigns, and experiences that differentiate Edge in a competitive marketplace.
  • Ensure all GTM motions are optimized not only for acquisition but also for engagement, habit formation, and long-term retention.
  • Define success metrics, OKRs, and performance frameworks with partners.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across campaigns, channels, and customer journeys to identify opportunities and remove friction.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Product, and Analytics teams to diagnose funnel performance and prioritize actions that improve business results.
  • Use consumer research, market intelligence, competitive insights, and behavioral data to influence future investments, GTM strategies, and product priorities.
  • Lead regular business reviews that turn insights into decisions, ensuring learnings are translated into concrete actions and scaled across the organization.
  • Develop executive-ready recommendations that connect performance outcomes.
