About the Role

The Compliance Assurance Program Manager (CAPM) works at the intersection of privacy regulation, legal, business, product, and engineering to ensure user privacy is central to all operations. This role, within the Exam & Audit (E&A) team, focuses on third-party risk management (TPRM), overseeing safeguards for how third parties access, use, and protect Meta user data. The CAPM will act as a second-line advisor and assessment lead for these safeguards, ensuring readiness for independent assessment and driving a comprehensive privacy compliance program.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the second-line compliance partner for TPRM safeguards across the entire third-party lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, contract terms, data access, ongoing monitoring, enforcement, and offboarding.
  • Lead readiness for FTC Consent Order Assessments for assigned TPRM safeguards, coordinating assessor requests, reviewing data, and managing response narratives.
  • Support Meta's commitment to user privacy by advising privacy domains on navigating global and data privacy regulations.
  • Advise on the impact of new third-party integrations and platform capabilities on Meta's privacy posture and controls.
  • Provide independent oversight to proactively identify issues, ensure visibility, and help prioritize remediation efforts within assigned safeguards, acting as a key escalation point.
  • Develop long-term objectives for the privacy program operating model, including roadmaps, goals, and immediate priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), internal or external audit, or risk management, including third-party or vendor risk management, data privacy, or security.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery across organizations.
  • Working knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and third-party risk frameworks or standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001/27036, SOC 2).
  • Experience testing or assessing controls (design and operating effectiveness) and preparing evidence for regulators or external auditors.
  • Prior experience working with program management directly in product or engineering coupled with ITGC experience.
