About the Role

As an Associate in the Institutional Property & Health (IPH) Research & Analysis team, you will build collaborative relationships with Relationship Managers, Credit Executives, Product Partners, and Client Services to provide inspired solutions for customers and support business needs. You will build industry knowledge through active participation and contribute to the credit assessment function for an optimal portfolio. This role offers exposure to a diverse client portfolio and various loan structures, ideal for developing credit assessment skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage risks inherent in client capital and management structure, as well as financial results.
Evaluate client/asset/project performance and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare quality credit submissions.
Conduct financial analysis and industry research.
Manage risk grade events.
Liaise with clients and Credit on risk and financial performance, including covenant compliance and risk grade review events.
Liaise with credit executives on an ongoing basis.
Handle deal documentation.
Maintain well-managed portfolio controls.
Engage in direct contact and communication with clients.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in Banking/Finance.
Experience in customer Management and broad knowledge of processes and procedures.
Ability to identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and make recommendations where appropriate.
Demonstrated financial analysis skills going beyond traditional accounting based analysis.
Sound credit skills with the ability to present a well-motivated risk assessment and business proposition.
Sound communication skills and strong understanding of Microsoft Office products.
