About the Role
You will be responsible for technology and building software that saves our teams time. KU64 is owner-managed, without investors or chains. Over 40 dentists work in five practices in Berlin and Potsdam, with over 1,000 new patients joining each month. You will combine IT operations and software development for all five locations, reporting directly to management. You will collaborate with practice teams and IT partners, clarify responsibilities, and prioritize improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT operations across five locations: networks, servers, workstations, telephony, and telematics infrastructure.
- Ensure reliable IT operations that teams can depend on and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Oversee practice software and devices, including CGM Z1 Pro, digital X-rays, DVT, intraoral scanners, and CAD/CAM.
- Coordinate the integration of practice software and devices with teams, manufacturers, and partners.
- Implement and maintain security and data privacy measures for health data, including access control, encryption, two-factor authentication, contract processing, and training.
- Manage IT service providers for hardware, telephony, and device maintenance.
- Review contracts and ensure cost and priority transparency.
- Oversee the development and ongoing improvement of internal software.
- Evaluate and pilot AI agents for practical applications in the practice environment.
- Integrate proven AI solutions into daily operations.
Requirements
- Experience in IT operations, including systems, service providers, and user support.
- Proficiency in software development, specifically TypeScript, APIs, and cloud services.
- Ability to reliably deploy and maintain software in an operational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage teams and explain technical concepts.
- Fluent German language skills.
- Experience with AI agents or language models in a real-world setting is a plus.
- Experience with CGM Z1 or other practice and clinic software is a plus.
- Experience with telematics infrastructure, X-rays, and medical devices on the network is a plus.
- Experience with Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and UniFi is a plus.
