About the Role
Group Strategy is responsible for developing and driving a coordinated strategic agenda across the CBA Group, reinforcing the bank’s purpose and values. This role involves leading and executing projects, fostering a collaborative team, and supporting the Group Strategy Leadership Team in driving the bank's strategic agenda.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and execute projects end-to-end, from problem framing to solution development.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team, including developing junior members.
- Support the Group Strategy Leadership Team in driving the strategic agenda and delivering on initiatives.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, policy, venture building, or technology and data analytics.
- Advanced written communication skills for developing papers for Executive and Board audiences.
- Strong command of quantitative analysis, including estimating profit pools for banking customer segments and products.
- Ability to take ownership of complex strategic questions with demonstrated structured problem-solving capability.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure to the financial services sector is a plus, though not required.
