About the Role
The Systems Technician is a highly technical role supporting the operation and maintenance of the healthcare center's core equipment and systems. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and security of in-house equipment across multiple Sitrin entities in the greater Utica New York area. Availability after hours may be required for emergencies, system maintenance, or cybersecurity incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for all Sitrin software platforms, devices, telephony, and account provisioning/access.
- Manage computer and mobile device deployment, provisioning, and software patching.
- Support Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange Online, Intune, and Microsoft 365.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of computing and audio-visual equipment, including upgrade schedules.
- Support compliance with healthcare cybersecurity standards and regulations like HIPAA and HITECH.
- Create and maintain documentation for systems, including wiring diagrams, operation manuals, configuration records, and technical procedures.
- Ensure clear communication with all parties.
- Perform other assigned duties.
