About the Role

Store Managers are expected to spend the vast majority of their time on managerial work, leading and managing a team, ensuring the store and team are ready to deliver the Customer Brand Promises, and planning and communicating store workload activities and KPIs within budget. Minimal time is expected to be spent on non-managerial tasks.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring compliance with SOPs, Company programs, laws, and requirements.
Deliver sales plan/profit plan and other KPIs, managing the store team to achieve their role KPIs.
Lead the execution of customer brand promises.
Implement and lead shrink and safety programs.
Use company tools to set, prioritize, and communicate goals, providing overall management to team members and customers.
Staff the store with qualified Team Members: Hire, train, observe, and coach the team; lead performance management and disciplinary processes; identify talent and develop Team Members for advancement.
Interact with others respectfully, remain positive, promote organizational vision and values, and serve as a role model.
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
Maintain operational understanding of all store departments and ensure cross-training, including Custom Framing selling and production.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5+ years of retail experience, including specialized knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Some lifting of heavy items and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
