About the Role

This role provides daily supervision to staff, projects, and resources, ensuring the complete end-to-end development of assigned personnel and/or operations projects.

Responsibilities

Provide daily supervision to staff, projects, and/or resources.
Ensure complete end-to-end development of assigned personnel and/or Operations projects.
Assist with action planning with clients, project planning follow-up, space planning, turnover review, and workshop participation.
Identify labor needs, conduct interviews and recruiting activities, implement training, and provide coaching/counseling for improved performance.
Engage in staff meetings, customer interactions, vendor/service provider interactions, and internal communications.
Protect company assets.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Stay informed of industry trends and apply LEAN manufacturing concepts.
Direct daily department activities to meet production goals.
Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to determine manufacturing feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand.
Forecast operating costs and direct budget preparation.
Review and establish material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.
Select and develop personnel for efficient operation of the production function.
Oversee the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
Administer safety programs to ensure a safe and clean workplace.
Generate productivity reports and other operations metrics.

Requirements

Typically requires a bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
Requires 3 years of operations experience.
Ability to operate telephones, data entry, and office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, database systems).
