The Physician Assistant performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Requirements
- Graduate from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Program or equivalent as approved by the New York State Education Department.
- New York State Licensed Physician Assistant
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- New York State mandated Infection Control Course certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
