About the Role
Lead the AMS Design Verification team, owning the verification strategy and execution for analog mixed-signal portfolios including SerDes, DDR interfaces, PLLs, and data converters. This role involves people leadership, organizational development, strategic direction setting, and reporting outcomes to upper management.
Responsibilities
- Direct the DV organization, structuring teams and assigning responsibilities.
- Set verification strategy and standards, emphasizing AI-driven methods.
- Track verification results, schedule, and risk, escalating issues as needed.
- Communicate status, risks, resourcing needs, and strategic direction to management and cross-functional partners.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align schedules and resolve dependencies.
- Make resourcing and prioritization decisions based on analog mixed-signal and verification tradeoffs.
- Own hiring and retention for the organization, including pipeline development and offer closing.
- Set career development paths and performance expectations, mentoring leads.
- Apply AI techniques to verification workflows.
- Communicate technical risk and strategy to executive stakeholders.
- Manage multi-site teams.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 20+ years of experience.
- Strong background in analog mixed signal verification.
- Proficiency in UVM-based methodology.
- Significant people-management experience at scale, including hiring, performance management, and managing multi-level organizational structures.
