About the Role
My Ohana is seeking enthusiastic and caring part-time Crèche Practitioners to join their team at the IKEA Crèches across the UK & Ireland. This role involves engaging children in fun, educational play and supporting the Manager in planning and delivering activities.
Responsibilities
- Engaging children in fun, educational play through a variety of exciting activities
- Supporting the Manager in planning and delivering our activity programme
- Communicating professionally and warmly with colleagues, clients and parents
- Managing the safe entry and exit of children
- Stepping up as a Key Worker when required
Requirements
- Experience working with children aged 3 to 11 years
- A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification, or Playworker Level 3 (pre-2014)
- Creative flair to contribute to activity planning
- Great communication skills with children and parents alike
- A true team player attitude
- The confidence to step up into a supervisory role when needed
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Successful candidate will be subject to a DBS, reference and social media checks
