About the Role
The dishwasher position is a great opportunity to begin or continue a career in the restaurant industry. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dish area, floors, and workspaces clean and organized
- Return clean items to the correct storage areas
- Remove trash and assist with general kitchen cleanliness
- Support the kitchen team during busy shifts
- Assist with basic food preparation and other back-of-house duties as trained
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working in a hot, wet, and physically active environment
- A team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
