About the Role

Jobber is seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Operations to help powerful product capabilities become a compelling reason for service businesses to switch. This role focuses on the Operations pillar, which includes tools for planning work, coordinating teams, connecting field and office, and performance analysis. You will shape how these capabilities go to market and drive customer adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of customer workflows and challenges by combining customer conversations, competitive insight, win/loss feedback, and product data.
  • Craft differentiated stories around the customer journey, making value tangible through product demos, customer proof, and clear messaging.
  • Shape the offer by bringing customer needs, willingness to pay, and competitive context into packaging and commercial discussions.
  • Own the Go-to-Market (GTM) plan for your portfolio with Product and the commercial lead, coordinating readiness with Sales, Enablement, Demand Generation, and Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Improve discovery and adoption beyond launch by partnering with Product, Lifecycle Marketing, Education, and Customer Success.
  • Equip Sales and Success teams with competitive positioning, customer proof, demos, and objection-handling guidance.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across campaigns, landing pages, product experiences, and customer conversations.
  • Connect work to commercial outcomes such as conversion, higher-tier attach, and meaningful adoption by analyzing funnel and cohort data.
  • Utilize AI hands-on for research synthesis, analysis, GTM execution, and repeatable workflows, verifying outputs and documenting best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in product marketing for software products, including shaping strategy, positioning, and owning initiatives through launch and post-launch learning.
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills to translate complex functionality into clear customer benefits.
  • Sharp commercial judgment to understand competitive alternatives, switching barriers, and recommend strategies for reaching ICPs and differentiating offers.
  • Analytical confidence to frame business questions, self-serve data, interpret evidence, and distinguish observed results from causal claims.
  • Hands-on experience using AI to improve research, GTM execution, analysis, or team processes, with the ability to explain impact and verification methods.
  • Experience with SMB software, vertical SaaS, field service, or operational workflows is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with home service businesses is helpful.
  • Track record of influencing Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing partners without direct authority.
  • Comfort with evolving priorities, bringing recommendations and trade-offs, and surfacing risks early.
  • Genuine curiosity about how service businesses operate and a drive to learn directly from customers.
  • Collaborative approach with a clear point of view, constructive feedback, and respect for others' expertise.
