About the Role

As a Senior Consultant - Pega System Architect, you will translate business requirements into well-thought-out technical solutions. You will be responsible for the conception and implementation of Pega applications, combining process automation, workflow design, and AI functionalities to deliver measurable value to our clients.

Responsibilities

Design future-proof Pega solutions: Design scalable Pega architectures and oversee their implementation from concept to go-live, including integration with existing systems and business models.
Solution Design: Analyze requirements with business departments and IT, question existing processes, and develop scalable solution concepts based on the Pega Platform.
Technical Implementation: Configure and develop Pega applications, from Case Types and data models to business rules and user interfaces, focusing on reusability and maintainability.
Team Responsibility: Take ownership of defined technical work packages, collaborate closely with Business Architects and Lead System Architects, and support less experienced colleagues through technical coaching.
Innovation: Evaluate new Pega features, especially in AI-powered process automation, and contribute suitable approaches to client projects and the further development of our offerings.

Requirements

Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, a comparable degree program, or equivalent qualification with 2-5 years of practical experience.
Several years of practical experience in the conception and implementation of Pega applications and certification as a Pega Certified System Architect (CSA); a higher-level certification is a plus.
Sound knowledge of Case Management, data modeling, rule development, and interface integration, as well as an understanding of software architecture, testing, and deployment.
Experience in agile project teams and the ability to translate business requirements into structured, viable technical solutions.
Strong ability to identify and critically evaluate AI potential and to use it specifically for innovative solution approaches, well-founded recommendations, and measurable customer benefit.
