About the Role

As a Working Student in Communication Design, AI & Automation, you will support our team in visualizing complex content, integrating AI into creative processes, and developing and testing innovative design and automation workflows for internal and client-related formats.

Responsibilities

Develop visual concepts, presentations, and communication materials, translating complex content into clear, compelling storylines.
Utilize generative AI to support research, idea generation, visualization, and content creation, ensuring quality, consistency, and usability.
Test new tools and develop simple prototypes, templates, and automated workflows to optimize recurring design tasks.
Research companies, industries, and trends, condensing findings into understandable briefings, management documents, and visual formats.
Contribute to the sustainable integration of AI and design into daily work by documenting procedures, sharing learnings, and supporting the introduction of new methods.

Requirements

Enrolled in a degree program in Communication Design, Media Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Design Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
Interest in visual communication with a good eye for design, storytelling, and the clear presentation of complex content.
Affinity for digital technologies and AI applications, ideally with initial practical experience in generative AI, prompt engineering, and quality assurance of AI-generated results.
Proficiency with digital tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Figma).
Initial experience with Power Automate, APIs, Office Scripts, Python, or comparable automation tools is advantageous.
Structured and independent work style.
Strong team spirit.
Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
Availability for at least 1 year.
Availability for up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility.
Availability for up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks, upon agreement.
