Responsibilities

  • Lead a hunter sales team focused on new logo acquisition, pipeline creation, and revenue goals.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop hunter-minded sales professionals.
  • Coach sellers on identifying target contacts, building prospecting and territory plans, and creating pursuit strategies.
  • Set clear activity and pipeline-generation standards, and coach sellers on outbound outreach and prospecting techniques.
  • Guide the team in earning first meetings with senior prospects and leading effective discovery conversations.
  • Set clear expectations, inspect pipeline coverage, conversion, and forecast quality, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Use knowledge of tech industry business models, market dynamics, and priorities to sharpen customer relevance and competitive positioning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape competitive proposals and close complex B2B opportunities.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation, focus the team on high-potential prospects, and escalate execution risks.
  • Maintain disciplined operating rhythms and communicate progress, wins, risks, and actions to leadership and partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related sales experience, including experience in complex B2B or enterprise new business sales.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or developing quota-carrying hunter sellers.
  • Proven track record of new logo acquisition, including building pipeline from scratch and prospecting into new accounts.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with senior prospects.
  • Ability to guide complex, multi-stakeholder sales decisions.
  • Strong product, pricing, pipeline, forecasting, and performance-management capability.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical, solution, product, pricing, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Ability to use market, prospect, and performance insights to prioritize target accounts and allocate resources.
