About the Role
Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is seeking Full-Time Physical Therapists to join our School-Based Rehabilitation Program for the 2027–2028 school year. Physical Therapists will provide intervention and evaluation for children in schools and/or homes, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain communication with parents, guardians, and teachers.
Responsibilities
- Provide intervention and evaluation for children in schools and/or in their homes.
- Document sessions and progress.
- Prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians and teachers.
- Evaluate, treat, and maintain appropriate documentation on school-based children as assigned by the SBRP Director.
- Attend all mandatory and required SBRP and district meetings and trainings.
- Communicate with parents, school personnel, Board of Education and School-Based Rehab Program.
Requirements

Experience Level

- At least one year experience in pediatrics, specifically with school-age populations is preferred.
Education Level
- Bachelor of Science, Masters, or Doctorate degree from a Physical Therapy program.
- New York State Physical Therapy License required.
Salary/Compensations
- $90,480.00 annual salary paid over 12 months (26 pay periods) while following the Yonkers Public School calendar

- Daily Schedule will be discussed with the SBRP director, but usually 7:30am-3:30pm
