As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused workplace by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or facility concerns.
- Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and alarm or camera systems as assigned, documenting observations and communicating concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
