About the Role
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Installs and repairs wiring, breakers, light packages, conduit, outlets, switchgear, transformers, disconnects and transfer switches
- Designs, installs, programs and builds advanced electronic circuitry
- Reads, comprehends, and understands complicated electronic circuit diagrams and manuals.
- Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs complex electronic control systems
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
- Generally good working conditions.
- Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Experience Level
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Education Level
- High School diploma
Salary/Compensations
- $30.00+ per hour USD commensurate with experience
