About the Role
Rocky Mountain Laboratories is growing in Texas and hiring an Area Sales Supervisor to own the Austin area. As the area grows, you'll help hire, train, and lead a team of four to five Account Managers. It's a hands-on leadership role with a path to regional leadership as our Texas team grows.

- Present to physicians, NPs and PAs, practice managers, directors of nursing, and facility administrators
- Help recruit, interview, and onboard Account Managers as the area grows
- Train new Account Managers through ride-alongs, shared prospecting, and account handoffs
- Set weekly activity and volume goals and coach your team toward them once it's in place
- Keep pipeline, volume, and forecasts current in Zoho CRM and report results to leadership
- Coordinate new account onboarding and collector placements with operations
- Follow company policy and the healthcare laws that govern lab sales and referrals, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, EKRA, and Stark
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside, field, or B2B sales experience
- A track record of finding and closing new business on your own and meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience training, mentoring, or leading other sales reps (a formal management title is not required; field trainer, team lead, or mentoring newer reps all count)
- Confident presenting to physicians, practice managers, and facility leaders
- Experience with a CRM system and comfort with pipeline reporting
- Live in or willing to relocate to the Austin area
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Medical sales experience in clinical laboratory, diagnostics, toxicology, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales
- Formal sales supervisor or manager experience
