About the Role

This role owns the end-to-end process from initial customer conversations to building and deploying solutions on our platform. You will work directly with principals and school leaders to understand their needs, build prototypes, agentic workflows, evaluations, and data pipelines, and ensure a smooth handover to the platform team. You will also co-own the sales pipeline by delivering working prototypes that build trust with partners.

Sit in discovery with principals and school leaders to understand their needs.
Build prototypes, agentic workflows, evaluations, and data pipelines.
Own solutions from design through deployment and handoff to the platform team.
Co-own the sales pipeline by delivering working prototypes.
Run customer conversations alongside Sales.
Translate customer needs into shippable requirements.
Scope custom workflows.
Collaborate with platform and product teams on roadmap dependencies.

Requirements

4+ years of experience shipping production software.
Experience as the technical person in customer-facing meetings.
Ability to translate user stories from non-technical stakeholders into buildable solutions.
Comfort owning code in production.
Experience with Snowflake and modern data engineering (pipelines, ETL, data modeling, SQL optimization).
Experience working with messy data.
Experience building n8n workflows.
Knowledge of how agentic workflows integrate with a data stack.
Experience in sales or close proximity to sales, including stakeholder management and objection handling.
Ability to run a project end-to-end and manage timelines.
Ability to make independent technical decisions with good judgment.
Skill in explaining technical concepts plainly to non-technical audiences.
Experience leading a small team or mentoring junior engineers.
Preference for shipping scoped versions over polishing presentations.
Nice to have: forward-deployed engineering experience or early-stage startup experience.
