About the Role
Brady Sullivan is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager for their new Self Storage project. This position requires overseeing the daily coordination of internal and external agencies related to project management, ensuring high customer satisfaction through professional project management and interpersonal skills. The role utilizes best practices and company procedures to ensure timely project completion and maximize profitability, requiring the ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain working knowledge of construction trades including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and HVAC.
- Develop, monitor, and track project timelines for all phases to meet established completion dates.
- Develop, monitor, and track project budgets and contracts for all phases to meet established completion dates.
- Coordinate with customers and internal employees to address and handle change orders and issues.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and comply with technical, safety, and legal requirements.
- Establish respectful working relationships with subordinates, outside vendors, and sub-contractors.
- Conduct daily site walk-throughs to ensure sub-contractor work standards are met.
- Comprehend blueprints, job specifications, proposals, and architectural drawings.
- Maintain job files for project tracking and historical data retrieval.
Requirements
- Extensive project management and site superintendent experience.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Continuous education and training in construction trades as applied to project management.
- Ability to resolve conflict professionally and in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Computer proficiency with MS-Office.
- Experience with industry-standard software such as Timberline® and Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Self-Storage experience is a plus.
- Industry standard licenses and/or certifications are a plus.
