About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects meet agreed time, cost, and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initial brief through design, procurement, construction, and handover.
- Build and lead high-performing project teams and coordinate specialist technical support.
- Manage designers, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, programmes, and delivery strategies.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and opportunities, taking action when issues arise.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to provide clear communication and effective project governance.
- Lead project meetings and ensure decisions, actions, and records are maintained.
- Manage change control processes and ensure project changes are agreed and documented.
- Support robust quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure handover information is complete and provided ahead of project completion.
- Create an environment where everyone understands the plan, their role, and how work is progressing.
Requirements
- Experience leading construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong project management expertise across programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and supply chain partners.
- A good understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements within construction projects.
- A valid CSCS card or equivalent certification.
