About the Role
The Planning and Portfolio Management Team provides planning and stewardship of a large portfolio of projects across the Retail organization. We work closely with project managers, leadership and other parts of Apple to craft a strategic, synchronized plan that helps the Retail Organization realize its goals. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of planning professionals.
- Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Take initiative, foster trust and build strong, productive relationships with cross-functional teams and partners.
- Lead executive level strategic discussions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in portfolio management, complex program management, strategic operations, or a combination of extensive portfolio/program management and experience leading retail operations.
- 3+ years of experience leading teams, either through direct people management or leading large cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working with Engineering and technology teams.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting and reporting methodologies.
- Experience working effectively in a highly-matrixed organization across timezones.
